Now the clock’s have gone back it is getting dark and gloomy. You may be craving junk food and more carbohydrate based meals. This is fine and normal. However if you do not want to pile on the pounds it is better to downsize the portion of snacks you consume in one day  or switch to more nutritious alternatives. So swap your packet of crisps for example with  a piece of fruit, yogurt, nuts and some dried fruit. At the moment I’m liking the chocolate coated apples for Halloween. It’s satisfying my sweet tooth! In addition this count towards one of your five a day. Hooray!
